Free Audio Samples – Sound Design Tools

99 sounds sound design tools

99Sounds recently released a new set of free audio samples, this time a collection of foley sounds, futuristic sound effects, glitch samples and drum loops created by Gavin Thibodeau, a sound designer based in Stafford, USA.

This collection of free audio samples contains 360 high quality samples for sound design and music production, ranging from mechanical sounds of hydraulic engines, percussive ice crackles and noisy dubstep loops to abstract sonic textures. All of the samples in the pack were made through experimenting with synths or foley samples. The samples have been manipulated with various plugins (primarily Reaktor) and were bounced down in Ableton Live 8. Gavin used Twisted Tools S-Layer for a lot of the sounds, some even barely processed. Glitchmachines Fracture and Inear Display plugins were used for the samples in the Bits and Pieces section.
